David Swanson
Award-winning writer-photographer David Swanson is a third-generation San Diegan who has covered US and international travel since 1995 for such outlets as Travel + Leisure, National Geographic Traveler, Travelocity, AARP the Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, Westways, and dozens of other newspapers, magazines, and websites. In 2018-2019, David served as President of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW).
