Denise Guinn
Denise Guinn received her B.A. in chemistry from the University of California at San Diego and her Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University before joining Abbott Laboratories as a Research Scientist in the Pharmaceutical Products Discovery Group. Denise Guinn received her B.A. in chemistry from the University of California at San Diego and her Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University before joining Abbott Laboratories as a Research Scientist in the Pharmaceutical Products Discovery Group. In 1992, Dr. Guinn joined the faculty at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, as Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor of Chemistry, where she taught courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and the general, organic, and biochemistry course for nursing and allied health majors. In 2008, she joined the chemistry department at The College of New Rochelle, in New York where she taught organic chemistry, biochemistry, and the one-semester GOB course for nursing students. Dr. Guinn is currently on the faculty at Mercy College. She has published in the Journal of Organic Chemistry, the Journal of the American Chemical Society, and the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry. She currently resides in Berhoud, Colorado with her dog Puck. See less
