Derek Ross was born and grew up in Tilbury, Essex. After years of writing short stories and letters to newspapers on every subject from music to politics, Derek has now finally penned his first novel. He is a keen jazz enthusiast and has a passion for the drums. He currently lives close to the beautiful Wicklow mountains in Ireland with his wife and daughter and their very mischievous bichon frise, Ruby.
