Efthimios Parasidis is Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer Professor for the Administration of Justice and Rule of Law at the Ohio State University. Efthimios Parasidis is Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer Professor for the Administration of Justice and Rule of Law at the Ohio State University. His research focuses on topics in health law and bioethics, with a specialty in military medical ethics and the ethics and regulation of research with human subjects. He has consulted for the U.S. Air Force and DARPA on ethical and legal issues in military science, has served on several governmental advisory committees, and has received grants from the Fulbright Foundation, Greenwall Foundation, and Robert B. Silvers Foundation. Prior to entering academia, Professor Parasidis worked as an attorney in private practice in New York City, and was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York.
