Eleanor Anderson
Anderson was born to missionary parents, Lillian and Elmer Danielson, in Tanganyika (Tanzania), East Africa. She grew up in Lindsborg, Kansas and graduated from Bethany College in 1953. After teaching elementary school for two years, she married Pastor Phil Nelson. Her service in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana has included the resettlement of refugees from war torn countries, the management of a food pantry, global mission education, and chaplaincy ministry.
