Faruk Azam Shaik is a research scientist (CRCN) at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France, affiliated with the Institut d'Électronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologie (IEMN), UMR 8520. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Information Systems from The University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2018, and his M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India, in 2015. Dr. Shaik's research is centered on microtechnology, with a particular emphasis on Bio-MEMS, sensors and actuators, microfluidics, and lab-on-a-chip systems designed to address biological and clinical challenges. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, and is a co-inventor on several patents. In addition to his scientific publications, he has actively contributed to various research grant proposals and co-led a technology maturation program. See less
