Gordon Addington was both a medical doctor and lifelong student of the Bible. Prior to attending medical school, he served on staff with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, where teaching students how to study the Bible was a prominent part of his ministry. Throughout their sixty-one years of marriage, Gordon and his wife Bonnie regularly led Bible studies in their home and neighborhood.
