Isabella Bird has travelled widely for pleasure and work and has now settled in France with her husband and two dogs. She is originally from the UK.With a background in Journalism and Law, Isabella decided to research and write a book to help people from the UK who suddenly found themselves having to negotiate the visa maze after the UK left the EU (known as Brexit) at the end of 2020. Since then she has also written this US version.
