JACK LEIFER is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kentucky Extended Campus Program in Paducah, and was previously with the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Engineering at the University of South Carolina--Aiken. His current research interests include the modeling of sensors for manufacturing, and the use of Artificial Neural Networks to predict corrosion.
