Jerry D. Durham, PhD, RN., FAAN, is Chancellor and Professor of Nursing at Allen College, Waterloo, Iowa. He previously held the position of Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor of Nursing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis where he initially served as dean of the Barnes College of Nursing and Health Studies. He holds two baccalaureate and four graduate degrees, including master's degrees in medical-surgical nursing and psychiatric mental health nursing, as well as a doctorate in higher education administration. Dr. Durham is also the co-editor of books focusing on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and private practice in psychiatric-mental health nursing. These publications have received five Book of the Year Awards from the "American Journal of Nursing". He has also served as a reviewer for, and member of, the editorial boards of several nursing journals. See less
