Jessica Specter was born in Cape Canaveral, FL and raised in Titusville, right alongside the notorious Kennedy Space Center. Jessica Specter was born in Cape Canaveral, FL and raised in Titusville, right alongside the notorious Kennedy Space Center. From childhood she watched shuttles, rockets, satellites and more illuminate the sky - night and day - to explore the unknown. With parents who worked at the space center as engineers she was taught much about outer space as a child and begged for Black Hole documentaries and space encyclopedias in 5th grade. Specter graduated from the University of North Florida in April of 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication. She later founded Lavender Moon Media, LLC. for marketing contract work. In July of 2023 she would found her "life mission" of conserving bear populations worldwide with Bear Grounds Coffee Co., a nonprofit organization. She is the author of three other books to date which range from Science Fiction/Psychological Thrillers, an educational children's book on bears and a grimoire comprised of 10 years of spiritual knowledge and experiences.
