JiaJia Hamner is a freelance illustrator who loves nature, science, and ethnic arts and crafts. She was born in China but spent her youth and teenage years in the Canadian Prairies. JiaJia moved to the Pacific Northwest to finish a degree in physics before becoming a full time illustrator. When not working on creative projects, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, reading books, snorkeling, and gardening.
