After receiving his Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric from Ball State University, Dr. English became an Assistant Professor of Professional Writing and Distance Learning at Old Dominion University. After receiving his Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric from Ball State University, Dr. English became an Assistant Professor of Professional Writing and Distance Learning at Old Dominion University. In 2002, he transitioned to Centura College to strategize and build the fully online campus, innovating education, administration, student services, technology, finance, and infrastructure for a quality online institution. He now serves as the Regional Director at Centura College, presiding over seven campuses including the online campus. Dr. English is a Commissioner for the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges where he chairs the Distance Education Committee.
