John Cotts

John Cotts (PhD Berkeley, 2000) is a Professor of History and the Chair of the Division of Social Sciences at Whitman College (USA). A cultural and intellectual historian of twelfth-century England and France, he has published two books: The Clerical Dilemma: Peter of Blois and Literate Culture in the Twelfth Century (2009), and Europe's Long Twelfth Century: Oder, Anxiety and Adaptation 1095-1229 (2013).
