Born in Sydney, Australia in 1975, Josh Black was fascinated with sport from an early age. His mile-wide competitive streak saw him compete in a number of sports before he had reached double digits, and he continued to push himself into athletic pursuits of all kinds through his teenage years. As soon as he was able, Josh began to travel the world, broadening his perspective and gaining important professional experience in international markets. Through his high-ranking positions with globally leading brands like Gatorade, PepsiCo and GroupM, he has made his living exploring the intersection between sport and business, always paying particularly close attention to what makes high performers tick. Today, Josh has no fixed address and he is constantly on the move, spending more than 250 days out of the year away from Hong Kong where he has an office. His wanderlust has taken him to nearly every corner of the world, and each time he touches down he finds new experiences and sources of inspiration. Exposure to some of the world's best athletes changed Josh's life. By adopting some of the championship virtues, he felt himself becoming a better performer and a better person.
