Julian Mitchell was born in Hereford and has lived in six other counties before moving to Devon in 2005. His inspiration for his debut crime-thriller novel was the beautiful, and sometimes treacherous, landscape of Dartmoor. Since writing his first novel in 2018, Julian has had three other books published, including his most recent title , The Barbican Predator .
