Larry Busch is a retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, having served 35 years, coast to coast to coast across Canada and in the Yukon Territory. Larry Busch is a retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, having served 35 years, coast to coast to coast across Canada and in the Yukon Territory. He served on three UN Peacekeeping missions and also served as a Security Advisor at the UN Headquarters in New York. He has a BSc in Psychology. He served as body guard or head of security for many Canadian Prime Ministers, Governors-General, American Presidents, International Prime Ministers, The British Royal Family and various Royals and VIPs from around the world. He is the recipient of six Canadian and UN decorations plus numerous official commendations. For over five years, Larry was the RCMP's chief consultant and liaison for the very popular CBC television series "North of 60". Plus, two subsequent "North of 60" made-for-TV movies. The series focused on policing practices within the social and political framework of a small northern Canadian native community. He routinely assisted the writers with story ideas, plot construction, dialogue and props. Larry reviewed every script for technical accuracy as well as authentic native policing interactions.
