Dr. Metin Dora is a dedicated scholar specializing in the archaeology of Anatolia, with a focus on the study of stone vessels from the beginning of civilization up to the end of the second millennium BCE. He earned his Ph.D. in Archaeology from Ege University in 2023, where his dissertation, advised by Dr. Tayfun Y ld r m, provided significant insights into ancient Anatolian artifacts. Prior to this, he completed his Master's degree at Selcuk University in 2008 and his Bachelor's degree at the same institution in 2005. Dr. Dora has been serving as a Research Assistant in the Department of Protohistory and Near Eastern Archaeology at Mustafa Kemal University since 2014. Dr. Dora has actively participated in numerous archaeological projects, including surface surveys and excavations in rnak, Hatay, and Konya, contributing to the understanding of Bronze Age and subsequent settlements. His scholarly contributions include papers presented at international conferences, such as the 2022 International Science Festival, and chapters in scientific books on prehistoric warfare and conflict.
