Gabriel's journey to write "The Balanced Relationship Barometer" began after he and his wife of 10 years decided to divorce. He set out on a quest of self-awareness to help his daughter, and others, avoid a similar painful relationship situation. He experienced lingering questions that perplex many people who are in, or want to be in, a romantic relationship: What had they truly valued in each other? Which attributes had they each disliked, yet optimistically hoped they would be able to change? Why did they continue in the relationship, despite the warning signs? Could their future relationship dissatisfaction have been forecasted, and their issues better addressed or avoided? Gabriel's pursuit of personal research, insight and observation to answer these questions became the framework of "The Balanced Relationship Barometer" book. His expertise, combining business problem solving with a technology background, led him to develop a supporting mobile app, "Relationship Barometer." Both the book and the mobile app provide a clear, non-clinical, practical approach with guidance to achieve healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
