Morton J Horwitz
Morton J. Horwitz is the Charles Warren Professor of American Legal History Emeritus at Harvard Law School. He is the author of numerous articles on American legal history, as well as the two-volume set The Transformation of American Law, 1780-1860 and 1870-1960, the first volume of which won the Bancroft Prize in American History. He is also the author of The Warren Court and the Pursuit of Justice and coeditor of American Legal Realism.
