He has served as honorary academic editor in several journals and had experience of more than 8 years in peer review and academic editor. He is authored/editor of three books title as Cases on Teaching Pharmacology to Complementary and Alternative Medicine Students, Multidisciplinary Applications of Natural Science for Drug Discovery and Integrative Medicine and, Artificial Intelligence Applications Using ChatGPT in Education: Case Studies and Practices. He is currently working in School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xiamen University Malaysia. He had completed his Ph.D. from School of Bioprocess Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) and did worked on natural product chemistry. He was awarded scholarship by the Ministry of higher education (MOHE), Malaysia under the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) to pursue his Ph.D. He did Master of Philosophy from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He has completed his graduation from Baqai Medical University, Pakistan in Doctor of Pharmacy degree (often abbreviated as Pharm.D. or PharmD). He has started his career as a production supervisor and quality control analyst in different pharmaceutical companies and then in 2013 he has moved his academic career, as a lecturer in Lahore pharmacy college, Pakistan where he had taught pharmaceutical chemistry, instrumentation, and organic chemistry. He has served as assistant professor in Rashid Latif college of Pharmacy and Ziauddin University after his Ph.D. During his research work, Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Aslam had worked on the metabolomics analysis, fragmentation analysis of bioactive compounds, polyherbal formulation and their interactions in wound healing. His area of expertise is phytochemistry, Pharmacognosy, green extraction technique, wound healing studies, animal modeling, novel plant extraction methods, and green solvents. He had published more than nighty five (95) articles and have an h-index=16. Currently, he is working on public health issues, new extraction techniques, green extraction methods and identifying new material in the healing wound. See less
