Dr Naina Gupta has a PhD from the Architectural Association, School of Architecture in London, where she has taught. In 2010, she was part of the first cohort to contribute to the collaborative research project between OMA in the Netherlands and Strelka in Russia. Her more recent work, where she is studying the swimming pool as a space of transnational embodied relationships focusing on India, the UK and the USA, continues themes and methods that were broached in this book.
