Rob Gieselmann's greatest passion is his kids, now teenagers. But, he is also an Episcopal priest, writer, and lawyer. As an Episcopal priest, Rob serves as Rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Belvedere, California. Previously, he served at Christ Church in Sausalito, California; St. Paul's in Chestertown, Maryland; and St. Luke's in Cleveland, Tennessee. For ten years prior to ministry, Rob practiced general business and corporate law with major Tennessee law firms, and he was trained as a civil mediator. In addition to this book, Rob wrote a book on the recent dispute in the Episcopal Church over the ordination of Gene Robinson, urging the church to move forward in Christian love. (Title: The Episcopal Call to Love) Rob has also drafted a novel, soon to be published, and written a number of other articles. After his wife, Laura, died, Rob raised his two children alone, a sad accomplishment that gives Rob deep satisfaction. See less
