Rob Edwards is a stay-at-home father who holds a degree in Theatre Arts, with a minor in English from the University of Mary Washington. Purple Meadow is his second novel to be published. An avid reader, Rob counts Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook) and Richard Matheson (Somewhere In Time) as major writing influences. The driving factors behind his novels are the complexities of human relationships and exploring the myriad levels of those relationships. Rob's priority is his family, but he also enjoys exercising, reading, going to the movies, and all things Washington Redskins. Rob is a movie nut (he owns over 1,000 of them), with an affinity for the classics. Casablanca, Sabrina, An Affair to Remember, the original Star Wars trilogy, Jaws, When Harry Met Sally, and Some Kind of Wonderful are a handful of his favorites. Rob was raised in Annandale and Springfield, Virginia, and currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, Tara, and sons, Tristan and Reese. See less
