S.C. Rastogi former Professor of Biological Sciences at Birla Institute of Technology & Sci ence, Pilani, has a vast and variegated experience of teaching and research in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry and enzyme biotechnology. A biologist of repute, and accredited with many a educational innovation, he has been a constant participant in the course development activity at BITS and other universities. His research interests are enzyme biotechnology and biodegradation of lignocellulosic materials. An author of numerous books and research papers in the fields of physiology, biochemistry and biotechnology, he has carved out for himself a niche in the scientific world. He is a Fellow of Society of Biosciences and Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Zoological Society.
