Samantha Johnson is an author-illustrator, as well as a graphic design student. She began writing at the age of ten as a means of coping with her ever-changing life as a young woman in rural Massachusetts. Growing up would have been much more difficult if it weren't for her older sister, who has always been at her side, along with her supportive parents and many animal companions. Sam (as her friends and family refer to her) is not only a creative but also quite a nerd. When she isn't writing or drawing during her free time, she can be found indulging in one of her many hobbies, such as watching comic book movies or YouTube videos, collecting Funko Pops and crystals, or humming along to music by Taylor Swift or Harry Styles. While crafting her debut poetry collection, "The Perpetual Fear of Ending Up Alone," Sam endured the extreme yet relatable peaks and valleys of her teenage years and early adulthood. From the bloom of a first love to the loss of a loved one, her passion is writing herself a path through life in hopes that someone can find comfort within her words. See less
