Stephane Eranian
Eranian is a research scientist at HP research Labs. He has been working on the port of Linux to the IA-64 since late 1998. He has made numerous contributions to the Linux/ia64 kernel and related user level programs. He is the main architect of the kernel performance monitoring subsystem and also the creator of the pfmon tool which is used to extract performance information. He is also the architect and current maintainer of the Linux/ia64 elilo boot loader.
