California geologist and author of two nonfiction titles in his area of seasoned expertise: Shaping the Sonoma-Mendocino Coast: Exploring the Coastal Geology of Northern California, and most recently Tornados, Rattlesnakes & Oil A Wildcatter's Memories of Hunting for "Black Gold."
