I recently purchased this extra copy for my 20 year old daughter for Christmas after she had remarked (referring to my copy) "It seems like we always use this cookbook" and I suppose -- even though I have many other great cookbooks: "Joy of Cooking" "New York Times Cookbook" "Gourmet Cookbook" among others, it seems like we use this Fannie Farmer Cookbook the most often for everything from Chicken Pot Pie to Penuche Icing. Good solid cookbook with great recipes!

My favorite
This is my favorite cookbook. I've used it for a couple of decades. I bought this copy to send to a relative in Germany where these are probably considered exotic recipes.

great cookbook
I had received this as a wedding gift and have used it a lot. So I am getting one for each of my daughter-in-laws and daughters for their birthdays. The book has so many helpful cooking hints and info. Great cookbook for a gift.

General Purpose Cookbook
Recipes for everything using basic ingredients more than cans, etc. It even has a section on how to do preserves.

Thrilled.
Have been looking for this exact edition of this cookbook, which is better than all other editions, for years. My mother had it. Was amazed to find this copy in better condition than hers, and for a great price.
