If you are having problems with obsessive thoughts, this book tells you how to get it under control. It helped me when I realized others had the same problems, and here I was, ready to commit suicide because I thought I was so abnormal. The "Imp of the Pervese" is to blame, not me. By realizing that I didn't have to avoid "some" perverse thoughts, my mind was satisfied with that and left me alone with the worse ones, like a child needing to come out to play. If you can laugh at your problem for even a minute, you won't take it so seriously and that helps too. My strong belief is that it happens to people who try to be "too good." I was always trying to be too organized, too controlling, too perfect, and the Imp took over. Like a child you will never let get dirty, rebels and plays in the mud!!
