enlightening
This book may be able to help you during one of your darkest times, when you feel that no one seems to understand what you are doing. This book is about the search for perfection, the struggles we have to endure to be better than what we really are, and that despite what we have achieved, we can't always please everyone. This book also tells you that you are not alone in your search. There may be several others like you, some may just be looking and waiting for guidance. This book may be able to teach you to look at a person in a searching kind of way. An unforgettable scene was when Fletcher, freshly out from a mob that would have killed him and his flock, asked Jonathan (the lead character) why he still loves those birds that almost killed them, in which Jonathan replied something like: you do not love evil. You have to look deeper into each of those birds, for their goodness... that's what you should love.

Inspirational Visions
Whilst a Spade is a Spade....Inspiration from whatever source is invaluable! If you are blessed with imagination, Jonathan provides a beautiful learning template! His dedication to a task should inspire us to 'have a go' ourselves....to choose to follow our instincts....our dreams....so long as the results benefit others as well, and do no harm to anyone or anything!
