Time to Be In Earnest
This is, in my view, P.D. James' finest book. I possess every one of her titles & have read them repeatedly.
I have read her wonderful biographical diary five times. Not only have I learned about her life as an author, I have adopted her approach to journaling in my own diaries and now chronicle events with greater care.
I was thrilled to acquire a first edition of the book. This volume will not be loaned to anyone!
