After reading about 5 chapters, I realized this book was a little outdated for my current needs. The book itself was easy to read and understand. I would thoroughly reccommmend any of the For Dummies books because of this. However, I purchased this book to help me study for my A+ certifications. This book covered the general stuff needed to pass the certifications, but I was not careful to look at the Published date. This makes a huge difference. With certification tests costing well over $100 a pop, it's best to spend a little more on the most recently published study guide & ensure that you are studying the most recent information. A $10 difference in the study guide price is alot better than risking losing over $100 by not passing the exam. I will definately be purchasing the newer guide. Which, by the way, is still very affordable.
