Great book, editions very similar.
Don't waste your money on a brand new edition of this book. I've compared my 7th edition USED copy to brand new 8th edition copies and they are nearly identical. The author basically improved a few of the images, charts, and color coded a handful of labels. There is no noticeable difference between them and between one or two years there are not enough innovative changes in BASIC science to necessitate the purchase of a new book. However most used versions will not come with the bound atlas nor the IP-10 Cdrom. The body atlas can be purchased used as well, however the IP10 program CD has to be purchased new; you can find it for around $10 on its own. Otherwise a very good book that is absolutely essential for the A&P student.
