Im a final year Civil Engineering student in Ireland, i would highly recommend this book as to my knoweledge it is the basis of many Highway Engineering courses set around the country, certainly in C.I.T , U.L, I.T.S, D.I.T (author of this book lectures in D.I.T), U.C.C, hope this is helpful in steering you in the right direction
