Beating Proofs Before They Beat You
Like the rest of the 'Dummies' series, this is a serious attempt with a good dose of humor to help people get over the hump about things they want or need to learn.
If you are in a curriculum heavy on proofs, then this is the book for you. It's good at talking you through the process of learning to do proofs. And it provides plenty of proof examples and exercises.
