Meanwhile, closer to his current home, Albom becomes involved with a Detroit pastor -- a reformed drug dealer and convict -- who preaches to the poor and homeless in a decaying church with a hole in its roof. Very moving story
I love Mitch Albom. He never disappoints. This book is no exception. Read it cover to cover in one day. I was sorry when it was over. The characters felt like family. The story reinforced my faith as Mr. Albom does over and over again. God bless him!
