The book's main aim is didactic, but it also addresses the latest theoretical and methodological issues in Egyptology and Linguistics/Este libro es circunstancial. Se podr� decir que todos lo son, pero �ste me lleg� por pura casualidad a ra�z de unos cursos de lengua y escritura egipcia organizados por la Asociaci�n de Amigos del Museo Arqueol�gico Nacional de Madrid en 2007. Mi intenci�n inicial fue la de preparar un material para los participantes de los cursos, siendo consciente de lo dif�cil que es empezar a leer jerogl�ficos y comprender una lengua muy distinta de la nuestra o de las que nos son familiares.
