This is an entertaining presentation of certain episodes in the history of the Tower of London. Some of the stories are familiar, while others are obscure, and, frankly, new to me. The authors are a bit shaky on American History. For example, John Hancock, though a signer of the Declaration of Independence, was not its author. One hopes and expects that their knowledge of English History is better. Still, this is an interesting and readable collection of stories from one of the world's great historical sites.
