All of Ms. Heyer's romances are worth reading--and re-reading, too. For quality of writing, characterization, plotting, humor and romance, she can't be bettered. If "Powder and Patch" isn't as good as "The Black Moth" or "These Old Shades" or "Venetia", it's still better than at least 80% of the romance novels by other authors. If you like any of Heyer's novels, go ahead and read it: you'll enjoy it.

one of her best
Page turning Heyer, not bogged down in any regard. Whether you read Heyer in order they were written, this is a must.

Many moments of mirth
I enjoyed this book very much, it was well written and it kept a smile on my face the whole time. I look forward to reading more of the series from Georgette Heyer. I liked how it was not a serious book for the time period and it was refreshing to me.

Not one of Heyer's best
Not one of Heyer's best in terms of historical background, character development or plot. Not one I will likely reread as I have so many others.
