Great! For a math book.
I'm not very good at math and haven't studied it since high school. I'm forty now. This was our designated text. My course is offered online, so I basically had to learn from this book alone with very little outside help.
The text was very readable and explanatory. There are many examples that are used to give the student a better understanding of the concepts. Answer keys are in the back of the book and help a lot. There are many visual aids and interesting articles in this book also for help in applying concepts in daily life.
