Superb Book on World War Two
In 1975 I had an idea to write a book on the Battle of Midway. I never got around to it. Mr. Mrazek did, and that wonderful book was called "Dawn Like Thunder"! When I saw his new book, "To Kingdom Come", I wanted to read it! Mr. Mrazek has the story teller's gifts, which he uses in this book, to bring alive the unique personalities of American warriors in dire straits! In "To Kingdom Come", Mr. Mrazek takes us along with a group of men on a futile mission to bomb the German City of Stuttgart. Along the way, his free flowing narrative enables you to get inside the lives and motivations of the participants, even one of the main German antagonists! The book is fast paced, thrilling, and very respectfull of the efforts of our brave Airmen! If you like an exciting book, that brings you into the action, along with the characters, then I recommend this book for you!
