The book was graded "Very Good", but the spine is heavily worn. It should be graded it Fair or lower. I bought it despite the seller declining to provide a picture of the book. Now I know why they did not want to send a picture.

The book described in the listing as "very good" arrived with the cover separated from the binding and repaired with shipping tape along the torn / ripped seam. The dust jacket was warped and affixed to the book cover with shipping tape.

"Fine, like new" turned out to be with a personal bookplate including handwritten phone number. Some of the pages are deeply wrinkled, not flat.

Like new! Like what are you smoking? Very good, maybe, and I probably would've paid for a VG book. But I'm so tired of sellers misrepresenting the condition of their books. Beware of this unscrupulous seller.
