Very Good. No Jacket. A nice copy, rust orange boards with embossed black and gilt decoration. A very rare example in clean and bright condition. 468pp.
Good. No Jacket. An attractive 4 volume set. Half leather with marbled boards and page edges. Volumes 1 & 2 are in nice condition. Volumes 3 & 4 are in less nice condition due to the top 1.5 inch of leather spine is pulled away from binding and volume 4 is missing the "Rabelais" paste on that the other 3 volumes have. A very rare example of the 4 volume set, not perfect but solid, attractive and readable.
Good. No Jacket. Beautiful 1/2 leather with embossed spine and gold lettering. Small tear of marbelized paper on front board lower right. Binding tight, spine looks great. Text in French. Faint water stain on pages which gets lighter as you go deeper in the book but does not degrade the otherwise bright and readable text. Ribbon book mark. 427pp.
