Yes it's a former library book as described. I would've also preferred clarity on how that affects the appearance of the book such as the transparent tape covering the book making it impossible to remove the barcode and genre stickers the library applied.

The book jacket was torn in the lower right front and there were some page edges damaged (might be from transit). It might've been better to ship my entire order in a medium box to minimize potential damage en route. Overall, good experience with seller.
