I received the wrong book. When I requested the correct book, I received a canned reply, asking that the book be returned for a refund. No human ever read my request. I want the book I ordered, not a refund.

The cover came unglued from the text portion the moment I opened the packaging. The "limited writing in cover pages" was "Happy Wedding Shower, Love, Mom" to her daughter, Amanda. I guess you get what you pay for!

Exactly as described. Interestingly the book was not listed on the Thiftbooks site itself, only on Alibris so I ended up paying for shipping. With thiftbooks the consumer usually doesn't have to. What's up with that?

Ordered one book in three. Received 2 separate books, The Swimming Pool and a book called The Great Mistake. The 3 in one book was supposed to the The Swimming Pool, The Bat and The Haunted Lady.

Fine condition, the book I had a good cover that's it. The bottom half of the book was water logged because every page had stains and wrinkles and were hard as if soaked once. I am upset at the condition, no matter the price/shipping.
