Bar code issues meant this was not the book I received. I emailed to ask if another volume was coming. I got a detailed explanation reply and a refund within about 12 hours. That is seriously good customer service, and I will definitely shop you again.

THRIFT BOOKS ARE VERY GOOD SELLERS ON ALL COUNTS. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THAT THEY DON'T PROVIDE BOOK DESCRIPTIONS IN DETAIL, OTHER THAN"GOOD", OR "VERY GOOD" WHICH IS MINIMAL. ON OCCASION THEIR BOOKS ARE X-LIBRARY WITH NO INDICATION AS SUCH. .

Book was as described but the seller needs to use better packaging, the corners and spine took some damage during shipping. How about a padded envelope next time???

The book, Miss Austen, was rated in ?Very Good? condition. Not true! The book I received had no dust jacket. In addition, it has broken corners. Very disappointing as it is a favorite and one I had hoped to add to my permanent personal library.
